Fatal Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Channing and Clinton Avenues

Woman Struck, Killed in Central Fresno Car Accident

FRESNO, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2023) — A fatal Fresno pedestrian accident happened Monday night at Channing Avenue and Clinton Avenue.

A driver struck Jerri Webber, 54, of Fresno, at around 7 p.m. on Dec. 18th due to unknown circumstances, according to ABC 30 news.

The Fresno Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene, but unfortunately, the woman died from her injuries.

Traffic investigators were told by the driver that the woman was in the roadway at the time of the crash and that the motorist stopped immediately after.

The driver cooperated with investigators who say that drugs and or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.

The case remains under investigation to determine liability.
