Gerald Duncan Fatal Bicycle Accident Navajo Road in Apple Valley
Apple Valley Man, 66, Riding Bike Killed in Car Accident
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2023) — Gerald Dean Duncan, 66, of Apple Valley, was struck by a car while riding a bicycle last week at Navajo Road and Ottawa Road in Apple Valley.
The deadly car accident occurred at around 5:48 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19th, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department responded to the Apple Valley intersection and located the injured man, but unfortunately he died at 5:53 p.m., the report said. He was later identified as Gerald Duncan by the coroner.
Police closed down the roadway to conduct an investigation into what happened.
