3 Vehicles Collide on State Route 170

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2024) — A minor-injury crash involving multiple vehicles happened Friday morning on the Hollywood 170 Freeway, just north of Burbank Boulevard in North Hollywood.

Three vehicles were involved in the 8:41 a.m. collision on Jan. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a BMW SUV, a Toyota SUV and a blue Dodge were involved in the crash in the No. 2 lane of the southbound State Route 170. Upon arrival, police noted there was liquid and other debris scattered across traffic lanes.

North Hollywood Car Accident

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to the scene to help those injured and traffic was temporarily stopped.

Paramedics treated at least one person for minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they transported them to a hospital or not at this time.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Hollywood 170 Freeway.
