Head-on Crash on Highway 104

CARBONDALE, Calif. (March 26, 2024) — A two-vehicle Carbondale crash happened Tuesday morning on Twin Cities Road also known as State Route 104.

The head-on collision occurred in front of 14917 Twin Cities Road at around 4:25 a.m. on March 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white 2020 Buick Envision SUV and a Mach One tow truck were involved, but it’s unknown what led to the accident.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the crash, but there are no specific details at this time.

Also, police closed down eastbound and westbound traffic lanes due to the collision and investigation.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway due to damage.
