Pickup Damaged in Crash on Highway 101 in San Mateo

SAN MATEO, Calif. (April 5, 2024) —  A two-vehicle car accident happened Friday morning on northbound Highway 101, just north of Hillsdale Boulevard East in San Mateo.

The collision occurred about 10:40 a.m. on April 5th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The San Mateo Sheriff’s Office and paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash between a pickup truck and another motorist.

At least one person was treated for minor injuries, but it’s unknown if anyone was taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the pickup with moderate rear-end damage from the freeway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
