Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident on Mills Avenue

SOUTH WHITTIER, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — A fatal motorcycle crash happened Tuesday night on Mills Avenue at Reis Street in South Whittier.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound side of Mills Avenue at around 11:23 p.m. on April 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and a gray Infiniti collided due to unknown circumstances at the South Whittier intersection. The rider was thrown off the bike into the roadway.

Paramedics responded and pronounced the unidentified rider dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles for evidence.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle crash on Mills Avenue.
