Henry Chan, 86, Killed on Colima Road in Rowland Heights
Tragedy at Rowland Heights Intersection
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. (May 20, 2024) – Henry Chan, 86, died in a pedestrian accident early Monday morning at Colima Road near Fullerton Road in Rowland Heights.
The elderly man was fatally injured at about 5:50 a.m. on May 20th, in the San Gabriel Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was in the westbound lanes when he was hit by a large, black Lincoln SUV. The SUV driver pulled over and stopped.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the person’s death at the scene.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Henry Chan.
A tow truck removed the SUV due to heavy front-end damage.
Finally, police routed traffic away from the crash scene to conduct an investigation into what happened.
