Deadly Collison on State Route 20 in Williams

WILLIAMS, Calif. (June 13, 2024) — A fatal crash happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 20, just east of Walnut Drive in the Williams area.

The collision occurred at around 1:56 p.m. on June 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

CHP officials reported a vehicle went off the roadway roughly 70 feet and landed in a ditch on its driver’s side with at least one person deceased on scene. It’s unknown what caused the crash or how many people were in the vehicle at this time.

The Colusa County Sheriff’s Department requested the coroner respond and a tow truck removed the vehicle.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the fatal Highway 20 crash in Williams.
