Minor Injury Collision Near Potter Road in Salinas
SALINAS, CA (June 13, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday morning in Salinas, California, on the U.S. 101 Highway near Monterey County.
This collision took place around 10:55 a.m. on June 13, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The drivers involved were a green Honda sedan and a black semi-truck. The car allegedly entered the freeway fast, hitting the semi-truck from behind. The sedan was found overturned underneath the truck.
Paramedics responded to help a passenger with minor injuries. Tow trucks arrived at the scene to remove the disabled vehicles.
Investigators are working to determine the fault for this crash on the U.S. 101 Highway in Salinas.
