One Vehicle Unfit to Drive After Crash on Interstate 80
OAKLAND, Calif. (July 10, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened on Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 80 also known as Dwight D. Eisenhower Highway in Oakland California.
The traffic accident occurred at around 5:40 PM on Tuesday July 9th 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A grey Tesla Model 3 and a white Kia Optima along with a black Subaru, white sedan and an unknown black vehicle all collided into one another. All the vehicles ended up in the second lane of Interstate 80. Luckily the people in the white Kia Optima were not injured. While CHP reported that the black Subaru was unfit to drive.
Paramedics responded and located those who may have been injured and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. In addition tow trucks were requested on the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the highway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Oakland California.
