Woman, 74, Killed in Crash on Blackstone Avenue

FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2024) — Gloria Garcia, 74, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident at Blackstone Avenue and Spruce in Fresno.

The deadly crash occurred around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14th, according to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner.

A driver traveling south on Blackstone Avenue struck the victim in the roadway and pulled over, according to ABC 30 News. Paramedics responded and confirmed the woman’s death.

Investigators are working to determine liability for the Fresno pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue.
