Thermal Car Accident Pierce Street, 62nd Avenue in Riverside County

T-Bone Crash on Pierce Street in Coachella Valley

THERMAL, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident in Thermal happened Wednesday morning on Pierce Street and 62nd Avenue in Riverside County.

The collision occurred near 61018-61999 Pierce Street at 6:43 a.m. on Sept. 18th in the Coachella Valley area, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

CHP officials reported a grey Toyota Camry reportedly T-boned a white sedan, causing the white vehicle to overturn onto its roof.

It’s unknown at this time if one of the motorists drove through a stop sign at the four-way intersection.

Cal Fire Riverside responded with paramedics to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.

Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the intersection and investigators are working to determine liability for the Thermal car accident on Pierce Street.
