Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Glenn Anderson Freeway

DOWNEY, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured in a Downey car accident Tuesday morning on the westbound Glenn Anderson 105 Freeway.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at 5:37 a.m. on Sept. 24th, just west of the Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The motorcyclist went down in the HOV lane, but did not suffer serious injuries.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded with paramedics and transported the injured rider to St. Francis Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A tow truck removed the bike from the freeway and police are working to determine fault for the Downey motorcycle accident on the 105 Freeway.
