John Nealis Killed Lemon Grove Motorcycle Crash on State Route 94

Motorcyclist Struck, Killed on SR-94 in Lemon Grove

LEMON GROVE, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2024) — John Edward Nealis, 47, of El Cajon, died Monday in a motorcycle crash on State Route 94 in Lemon Grove.

The deadly crash occurred around 12:27 a.m. on Sept. 30th, near College Avenue, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner report.

The El Cajon man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on State Route 94 when a speeding driver rear-ended the bike and he was thrown into the roadway. A second vehicle reportedly struck him and he suffered fatal trauma.

John Nealis died shortly after from his injuries at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into the crash.
