Hoang Xuan Tran Killed in Hit-and-run Crash on Westminster Boulevard

Suspect Sought for Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-run Collision

WESTMINSTER, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2024) — Hoang Xuan Tran, 58, died Monday night in a hit-and-run crash on Westminster Boulevard.

The deadly crash occurred at 10:18 p.m. on Oct. 21st, at Yockey Street, according to the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner.

A driver in a newer-model dark sedan struck the victim, fled the scene and was last seen traveling eastbound on Westminster Boulevard.

Meanwhile, the victim suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The coroner report listed the man as a transient.
