One Killed in Collision on Highway 111 in Frink

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2024) — A van and a semi-truck were involved in a head-on crash Monday night on State Route Highway 111 near Frink Road in Imperial County.

The traffic accident occurred around 6:11 p.m. on Nov. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a female occupant from the van suffered major injuries and died following the traffic accident.

The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office is heading up the investigation.
