3-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus in Yuba City

YUBA CITY, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2024) — A school bus reportedly rear-ended another vehicle Tuesday on South Walton Avenue at Cherry Street in Yuba City.

The chain-reaction crash occurred around 7:52 a.m. on Nov. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The bus reportedly rear-ended a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV which was pushed into a Nissan Altima.

Paramedics responded and took seven students to the hospital as a precautionary, but none of the three people in the SUV were hospitalized.

Tow trucks removed the Nissan and Chevrolet due to rear-end and front and rear-end damage respectively.

Investigators are working what caused the multi-vehicle school bus crash in Yuba City.
