Fatality Reported on Sweetwater Road in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2024) — A fatal crash occurred on Sweetwater Road on Wednesday morning near the 805 Freeway in National City.

The collision occurred near 2300 Sweetwater Road around 7:57 a.m. on Nov. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic investigators responded to the scene and paramedics confirmed one person dead around 8:17 a.m., the report said.
