Pedestrian Killed in Mira Mesa Car Accident at Black Mountain Road
Man Struck, Killed on Black Mountain Road in San Diego County
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2024) — A driver struck and killed a pedestrian Friday morning in a car accident on Black Mountain Road at Gemini Avenue in Mira Mesa, in San Diego County.
The traffic collision occurred at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 20th, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The driver of a southbound vehicle struck the man walking on Black Mountain Road due to unknown circumstances, police said.
The San Diego Police Department sent deputies and paramedics also responded to the scene.
The victim was transported to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Black Mountain Road.
