SANTA ANA: Car Accident Interstate 5 Freeway, Near Main Street

Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Feb. 4, 2025) — A multi-vehicle traffic accident Tuesday in Santa Ana on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Main Street.

The collision occurred around 8 a.m. on Feb. 4th, in Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Honda Accord, a white Toyota minivan, a white Nissan Rogue, and possibly a flatbed truck were involved. The vehicles were blocking the two slow lanes and a tire was in the number 6 lane.

Paramedics responded to help those who may have been hurt in the accident, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the white minivan and the Honda Accord due to damage from the collision.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana.
