Fatal Pocket Bike Crash 20th Street East in Palmdale
Juvenile Riding Small Motorcycle Killed in Collision
PALMDALE, Calif. (March 14, 2025) — Kae’mon Hill, 17, died in a crash Tuesday night between his “pocket bike” and a Harley Davidson motorcycle at 20th Street East and Avenue L-8 in the Palmdale/Lancaster area.
The unidentified juvenile collided with the motorcyclists around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th, according to KTLA 5 News.
Investigators working on the case believe the smaller bike was traveling in a northeast direction as he crossed northbound 20th Street East.
Meanwhile, a man riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle was approaching Avenue L-8 while headed north on 20th Street.
Then the larger motorcyclist collided with the rider on the “pocket bike.” The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reports that the pocket bike did not have a headlight or taillight.
The teenage boy died at the scene and was later identified as Kae’mon Hill, 17, by the Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner.
Meanwhile, the Harley Davidson motorcycle rider was treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
