Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 24 in Orinda
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (March 14, 2025) — A deadly car accident involving several motorists happened Friday morning on eastbound Highway 24 near the Wilder Road exit in Orinda.
The traffic accident occurred near the Caldecott Tunnel around 8:25 a.m. on March 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The multi-vehicle collision was blocking all eastbound lanes and traffic was diverted to the Wilder Road off-ramp, police said.
It’s unknown what caused the collision or how many people in total suffered injuries.
