Lakeside Accident on Wildcat Canyon and Muth Valley Roads

LAKESIDE, Calif. (March 14, 2025) — A head-on crash happened Friday afternoon on Wildcat Canyon Road, just north of Muth Valley Road in the Lakeside area.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 1:20 p.m. on March 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a black Mazda sedan and a white Nissan Altima were involved.

Police believe the driver in the black vehicle was driving in the wrong directions prior to the collision and collided with the white car.

Both directions of Wildcat Canyon Road were blocked by the collision.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.

Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to damage and the roadway is expected to reopen to traffic soon.

Liability for the crash on Wildcat Canyon Road will be determined upon the conclusion of the investigation.
