Woman, 25, Killed in Pedestrian Accident Near LAX

PLAYA DEL REY, Calif. (March 17, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed Sunday night after a car involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident went off the side of the road and struck the 25-year-old woman in Playa del Rey.

It happened near Dockweiler State Beach Lifeguard Tower 50 and LAX Airport.

The deadly crash happened around 7:11 p.m. Sunday, March 16th in the 8200 block of Vista Del Mar, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics confirmed the death of the pedestrian and also treated a man around 70 years old for minor injuries, the report said.

It’s unknown what led to the two-vehicle collision and investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
