Two-Vehicle Collision in Whittier Area
WEST WHITTIER, Calif. (March 17, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash occurred Monday on Washington Boulevard and Norwalk Blvd., in the West Whittier-Los Nietos area.
The collision, which occurred around 1:53 p.m. on March 17th, involved a Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger and a Toyota SUV, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Whittier Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department sent emergency crews to the scene.
There were no serious injuries reported, but at least one person had a minor injury and complaints of pain. The vehicles were damaged and removed by arriving tow trucks.
The incident caused significant delays in the area as responders worked to clear the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the Whittier car accident on Washington Boulevard, and drivers are advised to avoid the intersection if possible.
