Pedestrian Injured in Miramar Road Crash Involving DUI Suspect
Suspected DUI Driver Pins Man Against Wall in Crash
MIRAMAR, Calif. (March 17, 2025) — A 23-year-old man suffered a serious leg injury Saturday when a suspected DUI driver jumped the curb on Miramar Road and hit the pedestrian.
The injury accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. on March 15th, in front of 9532 Miramar Road, according to the Times of San Diego.
The young man was handling trash bags in front of a strip mall when a driver possibly trying to park drove up over the cub and pinned the victim’s leg to the wall, according to the San Diego Police Department report.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to a hospital due to head pain and a fractured leg.
Meanwhile, police investigating the accident questioned the 39-year-old male driver and suspect that alcohol was possibly a factor in the collision.
The report did not mention if any arrests were made.
