Minor Injury Traffic Collision Involving School Bus in Ripon

Ripon, CA (March 18, 2025) – A Ripon Unified School District bus was involved in a crash with a blue truck Tuesday morning at West Ripon Road and Alice Road in Manteca.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene around 7:19 AM on March 18th, 2025.

A blue truck collided with the school district bus that was carrying children at the time of the incident, the report said.

One of the children was found crying on the ground near the bus and the driver of the truck was laying on the ground.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured, but there were no serious injuries.

The children on the bus were unharmed, however, they were likely shaken by the event.

The Ripon Police Department and San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and one tow truck came cleared the roadway.

Investigators are working to determine liability for the Manteca school bus accident.
