Multi-Vehicle Injury Collision on SR-4 in Bay Point
BAY POINT, Calif. (March 21, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash in Bay Point happened Friday morning on Highway 4, just west of Willow Pass Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the chain-reaction collision at 8:40 a.m. on March 21st, 2025.
The drivers of a green Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck, a white Lexus SUV, and a minivan collided in the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes, the report said.
The pickup’s air bags were deployed and the minivan had major rear-end and front-end damage with one occupant suffering neck and back injuries, the report said.
Paramedics with the Contra Costa County Fire Department were on the scene and transported the injured person to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the pickup truck and minivan were both towed from the highway due to damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Bay Point crash on Highway 4.
