Multi-Vehicle Escondido Crash Interstate 15 Freeway, Valley Parkway
Minor Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 North
ESCONDIDO, Calif. (March 27, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway North and West Valley Parkway happened Thursday morning in Escondido.
The crash, which occurred around 7:15 AM on March 27th, involved five vehicles, including a blue electric car, a white Honda Civic, and a gray sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP officials reported multiple vehicles and debris scattered across the HOV and fast lanes.
Furthermore, the collision resulted in minor injuries, however, authorities have confirmed there were no serious injuries involved.
By 9:00 AM, CHP officials had cleared the lanes, and all vehicles involved were removed from the roadway.
Also, a tow service, Road One Towing, removed at least one damaged vehicle. Despite the rapid response, the traffic was impacted for over an hour, with lanes blocked and delays reported.
Finally, the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but authorities are urging drivers to remain cautious when traveling on the busy I-15 corridor.
