Two Injured in Crash Involving Flatbed Truck and Car
PATTERSON, Calif. (April 8, 2025) — Two people were injured in a fiery car accident near Patterson on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of the Fink Road off-ramp in Stanislaus County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the slow lanes around 6:20 a.m. on April 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a car or SUV and a flatbed truck were involved. The smaller vehicle caught on fire following the collision and an iPhone alert notified police and fire officials to respond.
Paramedics responded and located two people with minor to moderate injuries who were possibly transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a tow truck from Newman City Tow removed the damaged vehicle from the roadway.
