Semi-Truck, Pickup Involved in Rollover Crash in Gorman
GORMAN, Calif. (April 8, 2025) — A big rig truck overturned Tuesday morning in a traffic accident on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, roughly two miles south of Gorman School Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the two-vehicle collision on the I-5 around 6:51 a.m. on April 8th, 2025.
A 911 caller told dispatchers the semi-truck was “swerving possibly from wind prior to the traffic collision.”
The yellow box truck wound up on its side in a ditch and the small grey Ford pickup truck was missing its rear wheel after the accident.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured, but fortunately, the injuries were considered minor.
Meanwhile, police closed down the number four lane of the freeway to allow a tow truck to recover the overturned box truck.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Gorman truck accident on the 5 Freeway.
