School Bus, Pickup, Car Collide on State Route 74 Near Lake Elsinore
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (April 11, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus happened Friday morning on Highway 74 and Peach Street in the Meadowbrook, area just north of Lake Elsinore.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 7 a.m. on April 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the school bus, a red Toyota Camry, and a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck owned by Clark’s Pest Control were involved. The vehicles were blocking both eastbound lanes and gasoline was leaking from the pickup truck, the report said.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision involving undisclosed injuries. Cal Fire Riverside sent paramedics to help anyone who was hurt.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 74 in Meadowbrook.
