Fatal Crash Shuts Down I-10 Near County Line Road
San Bernardino, CA (April 19, 2025) — A deadly crash shut down westbound I-10 near County Line Road in San Bernardino on Saturday morning, resulting in at least one fatality and hours-long traffic delays.
UPDATE: Donturious McKnight, Jr., 29, of Colton, was identified as the crash victim by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred around 9:19 a.m. on April 19th when a silver SUV flipped onto its side and was subsequently struck by a white van. Witnesses reported seeing the crash from the eastbound lanes.
Emergency responders, including Cal Fire and AMR, arrived on scene shortly after. All westbound lanes were temporarily blocked while crews worked to assist victims and clear the wreckage. A coroner was requested just after 10 a.m., confirming the incident was fatal.
