Tipton Fatal Crash Road 96 and Avenue 160 in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY: Deadly Collision at Tipton Intersection

TIPTON, Calif. (April 22, 2025) — A fatal, two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday morning in Tipton at Road 96 and Avenue 160, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials report the collision occurred in Tulare County around 5:39 a.m. on April 22nd, 2025. The drivers of a black GMC pickup truck and a second vehicle were involved.

Paramedics responded to the intersection to help those injured, however, at least one person died following the collision.

Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident.
