Aromas Crash on San Juan Road, Near Murphy Hill Road
Traffic Slows on San Juan Road Near Driscoll’s Facility
Watsonville, CA (April 23, 2025) – A possible head-on collision in Aromas early Wednesday morning disrupted traffic on San Juan Road near Murphy Hill Road, just in front of the Driscoll’s facility, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was reported around 6:57 a.m. on April 23rd and involved a dark blue SUV and a small dark gray vehicle, possibly a Toyota.
Emergency responders arrived at the crash scene and found one driver who was conscious and still inside their vehicle. The extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed.
CHP logs indicate that the collision temporarily blocked the roadway, but by 7:21 a.m., traffic was moving in both directions again.
Multiple tow services, including Salinas Auto Center and California Tow, were contacted to assist in removing the damaged vehicles. Monterey Communications also reported that equipment was en route to support the response.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Motorists in the area experienced some delays during the morning commute but the scene has since been cleared.
