Driver Hits Pedestrian in Fatal Crash on Chestnut Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (April 23, 2025) – Victor Thomas Jr., 42, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident early Monday in Fresno on Chestnut Avenue, just south of Olive Avenue.
A driver struck the man due to unknown circumstances around 5:30 a.m. on April 21st in southeast Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police and paramedics responded and transported the injured person to Community Regional Medical Center, where they underwent surgery and died shortly afterward.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation to determine fault. The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner later identified the victim as Victor Thomas Jr.
