Two-Vehicle Collision in Bakersfield on Jewetta Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (April 25, 2025) — At least one person was injured Thursday night in a car accident on Jewetta Avenue, near Rosedale Highway in Bakersfield.

The California Highway Patrol is heading up an investigation into the crash on Jewetta Avenue around 10:23 p.m. on April 24th, 2025.

The driver of a silver GMC vehicle and an unknown motorist collided due to unknown circumstances. The impact sent one of the vehicles down an embankment roughly 50 feet off the roadway, the report said.

Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person to the hospital and a second person was treated on scene.

There are no further details about the car accident on Jewetta Avenue in Bakersfield at this time.
