Pedestrian Killed in Collision With Motorcycle in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. (April 30, 2025) – A pedestrian accident involving a motorcycle rider happened in Lancaster on Tuesday night at 10th Street West, just north of Avenue L-12.
The deadly collision occurred around 10:47 p.m. on April 29th, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Detectives working on the incident reported a rider on a Yamaha motorcycle struck the victim who was crossing 10th Street outside of a marked crosswalk.
The bike hit the male pedestrian in the northbound No. 2 lane of 10th Street, police said.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located the victim with major trauma, but despite efforts to save him he died at the scene.
Liability for the pedestrian accident is unknown at this time.
