Deadly Stockton Crash on Highway 120, Near Sexton Road
Driver Killed, Three Injured in SUV, Hay Squeeze Collision
STOCKTON, Calif. (May 8, 2025) — A fatal crash happened Wednesday afternoon in Escalon south of Stockton on Highway 120, near Sexton Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP Stockton reports it took place around 4 p.m. on May 8th, between a Toyota Highlander SUV and a Hay Squeeze, a piece of equipment designed to move large quantities of hay bales
The SUV was traveling westbound on SR-120, just west of Sexton Road when it veered into oncoming traffic traffic and collided with the eastbound Hay Squeeze, the report said.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the death of the driver from the Highlander at the scene. Meanwhile, two juvenile passengers in the SUV and the Hay Squeeze driver all sustained major injuries.
Investigators closed down both directions of Highway 120 at Sexton Road, according to CHP Stockton.
