Placerville Crash at Missouri Flat Road and Forni Road

PLACERVILLE, Calif. (May 13, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash in Placerville happened Tuesday afternoon at Missouri Flat Road and Forni Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.

Driver Allegedly Ran Red Light, Hit SUV

The collision occurred in southbound traffic lanes around 12:10 p.m. on May 13th, the report said.

The driver of a gray sedan reportedly “ran a red light and hit the white SUV,” the CHP said.

Both vehicles had their airbags deployed following the accident and tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the Placerville intersection.

Investigators are working on the case and will assign liability to the at-fault driver.
