Sacramento Pedestrian Accident Norwood Avenue in Northgate

Pedestrian Critically Injured in North Sacramento Crash; Roadway Closed for Investigation

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 16, 2025) — A major injury pedestrian accident happened today on Norwood Avenue between Las Palmas and Eleanor avenues in the Northgate area of Sacramento.

The collision occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16th at the Sacramento intersection, according to Fox 40 News.

Paramedics responded and located the pedestrian in critical condition and transported them to a hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities closed down the intersection due to the crash and an investigation by the Sacramento Police Department.
