Deadly Fontana Crash at Arrow Boulevard and Sierra Avenue
One Dead, Four Injured in Fiery, Solo Crash in Riverside County
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (May 19, 2025) — One person is dead, four others were hospitalized early Monday after a solo-vehicle crash into a tree at Arrow Boulevard and Sierra Avenue in Fontana.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, police and firefighter crews responded to the fiery collision at 2:25 a.m. on May 19th and located five people trapped in a white Subaru in the median.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and worked to free the victims from the heavily-damaged vehicle.
One person died at the scene, but four others were transported to local hospitals. Three of them were seriously injured and taken to a regional trauma center and the fourth had less serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the Fontana Police Department is heading up the investigation.
