Four Hurt in Collision at Sweetwater Road and Spring Vista Way in Spring Valley

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (May 16, 2025) — Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash late Friday night at Sweetwater Road and Spring Vista Way in Spring Valley.

The collision happened just before 11:00 p.m. on May 16th at the Spring Valley intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to preliminary reports, a driver in a black sedan was struck on its side by a second vehicle. The circumstances leading up to the T-bone collision remain unclear as officials continue to investigate.

4 Injured Taken to Hospital

Paramedics and emergency crews responded and treated the injured at the scene before transporting all four individuals to nearby hospitals. The extent of their injuries ranged from moderate to serious. No further updates on their conditions have been released at this time.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is handling the ongoing investigation. The intersection was temporarily shut down during the emergency response, but has since reopened.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with information as they work to determine what led to the crash.
