CAMARILLO, Calif. (Dec. 30, 2025) — At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Camarillo that blocked traffic Tuesday morning at the intersection of Beardsley Road and Wright Road, authorities said.
The collision was reported at about 7:44 a.m. and involved a gray Ford F-250 pickup truck and a blue Honda in Ventura County, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. A second report initially described a blue Toyota RAV4, but officers later confirmed the vehicles involved.

The driver of the blue Honda was trapped inside the vehicle, prompting a response from firefighters, who closed the intersection while working at the scene. An ambulance was requested, and authorities sought information on the extent of injuries. The condition of the injured person was not immediately available.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, with one reporting party saying his vehicle was “totaled.” Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
In addition to the crash, a large tree was reported blocking Beardsley Road near Highway 1020, contributing to roadway closures in the area.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
