Emilio Martin Espinosa Killed in Motorcycle Accident on PCH in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2026) — Emilio Martin Espinosa, a 21-year-old man from Pico Rivera, was killed in a motorcycle crash earlier this week on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, police said.
The fatal collision occurred on Jan. 18th at approximately 1:11 p.m. Sunday at PCH and 11th Street, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department. Investigators said the crash involved a gray Land Rover LR2 and a red Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Officers arriving at the scene found Espinosa unconscious in the roadway. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said the Land Rover was being driven by a 62-year-old Huntington Beach man, who was not injured in the crash and remained at the scene. Authorities said the driver cooperated with investigators and there were no indications that drugs or alcohol played a role.
A preliminary investigation determined the Land Rover was traveling southbound on Pacific Coast Highway and attempting a left turn onto 11th Street to head northbound, when it collided with the motorcycle, which was traveling northbound on PCH through the intersection.
The collision remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it was urged to contact Huntington Beach Police Department Traffic Investigator C. Houlston at (714) 536-5670.
