Semi-Truck, Two Cars Collide on State Route 91

SANTA ANA, Calif., (May 11, 2026) — A major traffic collision involving a semi-truck and two sedans occurred early Monday morning on the eastbound Riverside 91 Freeway, just west of Green River at the border of Corona and Anaheim.

The crash was reported on Monday, May 11th, at approximately 1:55 a.m. near the eastbound lanes of SR91, close to the county line. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Hyundai sedan collided with a black sedan and possibly a big rig truck, blocking multiple lanes.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision was reported. At least one person suffered major injuries and was hospitalized, but there are no further details. Initial information indicates that smoke was seen coming from one of the sedans, indicating the severity of the crash.
