Fatal Sunland Rollover Crash Oro Vista Avenue, Big Tujunga Road

One Dead, Girl, 16, Critically Injured in Sunland Collision
SUNLAND, Calif. (May 12, 2026) – A male victim died, and three others were hurt, including a 15-year-old female who was critically injured in the solo-vehicle rollover crash on Oro Vista Avenue in Sunland.
The deadly collision occurred at around 6:05 p.m. on Monday, May 11th, in the 11100 block of Oro Vista Avenue near Big Tujunga Road and Oro Vista Park, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the scene and located the large SUV off the roadway and down an embankment.
Unfortunately, one male victim suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A teenage girl was transported to a hospital in critical condition, the LAFD said.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were transported to a hospital in serious condition, officials said.
Finally, detectives at the Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division are investigating the cause of the crash.
