Major Crash on Palisades Avenue, Los Osos Valley Road

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., (May 21, 2026) — A major traffic collision occurred at Palisades Avenue and Los Osos Valley Road in Los Osos, just west of San Luis Obispo, resulting in significant injuries, authorities reported.

The incident occurred on May 21st at approximately 12:08 p.m. involving multiple vehicles, including a grayish-blue Toyota Venza. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved a vehicle that reportedly rear-ended another car at a stop sign before continuing northbound on Palisades Avenue.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision was reported. The injured parties were attended to by medical personnel, and at least one individual was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. The grayish-blue Toyota Venza, which sustained major front-end damage, was later pulled to the right-hand side of Los Osos Valley Road.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has additional information to contact the California Highway Patrol as the investigation into the incident continues.
