Rosenda Ibarra Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Maple Avenue

FRESNO, Calif. (June 10, 2026) — Rosenda Ibarra, 55, of Fresno, died Monday night in Fresno after she was struck by a motorcycle rider in a pedestrian accident on Maple Avenue.
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Maple and Garland Avenues around 9:30 p.m. on June 9th, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department.
Police responded to the scene with paramedics and located the woman and the downed motorcyclist.
Sadly, Rosenda Ibarra suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
