Fatal Moreno Valley Crash on Perris Boulevard and San Michele Road

Diana Diaz, 37, of Perris, Identified as Victim of Moreno Valley Crash

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (June 15, 2026) — Diana Diaz, 37, died and four others were hospitalized Sunday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley.

Authorities say five people were traveling in two vehicles that collided at the intersection, and one car heading southbound on Perris Boulevard veered off the roadway and into a fire hydrant, according to the Riverside police and fire departments.

Riverside County Fire Department crews responded to the intersection near the Ross distribution center after the collision was reported around 5:40 a.m. on June 14th.

One of the drivers, Diana Diaz, suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, four others with moderate to major injuries were taken to hospitals for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
